Double Saves.

Day 309

I saw it and I liked the death to false metal line. Even though it has a heartagram, which is usually a HIM thing, I got this from the Bam Margera website in 05-06.

Day 314

My mom brought me this in 05-06. I think it's from Prague.

Day 316

G is for George, smothered under a rug...

Norge bought me this shirt in 01 or 02. He got it from Vintage Vinyl. There's a counter guy there named George and this is his band. Norge didn't know that, he just thought I'd like it, and he was right. I don't know if they're still around, but I liked them.

Day 320

WILD IN THE STREETS!!!

Yeah, it's an Affliction shirt, but it's a Circle Jerks Affliction shirt. I got this shirt in 07, right when Affliction started mass producing douche-T's. Prior to this, they actually made some punk/band T's...Circle Jerks, Misfits, Addicts, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, and a few other others. The Misfits and Addicts shirts were weaksauce, but the Circle Jerks one, the skeleton skankin' guy? Badass.

I didn't know the pics came out so dark on this one, I'll re-post better pics of the graphics tomorrow.

323

Hack the heads off little girls and put 'em on my wall!

I got this shirt on 5/3/96, the first time the Misfits played in NJ since 1983.  It was at the Stone Pony, and it was in the top 3 shows I've ever been to, possibly #1.  Jerry Only signed it a few shows later, and Sardonica opened.

324

My co-worker Yvonne got this one for me because they were giving out JD schwag one night she was out drinking, and she knows JD is my hard alcohol of choice...and hey, EVERYONE needs a JD shirt.

325

My mom got this for me when she went to Russia.  I want to say that was in 05-06.  It's a map of the subway system in Moscow.

Day 326

Another car-era shirt.  I gave SLP a LOT of my money between 1999-2004, at least I have a few shirts to show for it.  Simple enough, I got this shirt for free at their 2002 customer appreciation day at Raceway Park.

Day 327

Another nice day, another work T shirt. I'm getting sick and tomorrow is my birthday. poop.

Tuesday, November 8, 2011

Day 328

Since it was a nice day, I decided to wear a T shirt to work. This is one of our 40th Anniversary shirts.

Day 330

RE-BIRTH OF HARDCORE PRIDE!!!

OK, so that was a Gorilla Biscuits line, and a good portion of you won't know them. You probably don't know CIV either until you hear "Can't Wait One Minute More". Civ is the lead singer of the Gorilla Biscuits and, of course CIV. CIV's "Set Your Goals" came out around 1995 and, while not much different the Gorilla Biscuits, was certainly not the Gorilla Biscuits. The CIV record was fun and a bit more poppy with a few hardcore tracks sprinkled in there. I still like that record today. The full album was release on Atlantic Records, while their first single was on Revelation Records. As you can see, I have a Revelation Records shirt, which makes me cooler. I saw them at the Warped Tour in 1995 and got this shirt that same summer before I went away to college.

Day 331

Not much of a story behind this. My sister got me this in 06-07.

332

Who doesn't love Hooters?!? Well, the one around here had ugly girls, and the food was meh, except for the Buffalo Chicken Sammich. To bad it closed, that sammich was damn good. My sister got me this shirt in 03-04.

Ned Rules!

This is a Bubba the Love Sponge shirt. I hated him on terrestrial radio, but his old Sirius show cracked me up. I got this short on 05-06 when I worked for a shipping company. I bought another radio for the work vehicles so I could listen in the afternoon. There was an old pervy guy named Ned that made epic crank calls...I miss that cranky, half-gay SOB.
